Step 1: Play Mycosynth Lattice, all of your opponent’s lands are now artifacts
Step 2: Destroy X of your opponent’s permanents for (X)(R) [only red mana allowed sadly]
Step 3: Dance on the table in the ruins of their side of the field

You should check out my Living Plane deck, it has a similar effect but is much quicker. I haven’t worked on it in a few days, so it’s still the same.

Alternatively just play Darksteel Forge and Nevinyrral’s Disk? Pay 1 every turn to blow up everything your opponent ever knew and loved?

I use to love Lattice in standard. Otherwise my EDH Combo runs March of the machines with Liquid metal coating, to kill lands, enchantments, and hose equipments.

Paulo Gets It!!!

Paulo Vitor Damo Da Rosa actually gets it!!! everybody around me is getting excited for one thing or another in AVR and Paulo is so far the only person I agree entirely with.

  • Miracles not that miraculous.
  • Vexing devil will be good but not the bomb.
  • Soulbond has awesome limited potential
  • Tibalt has a place we just have to wait for it.
  • RESTORATION ANGEL IS A BOMB.

Chack it out.

Ghostly Flicker seems good. In the right deck, blinking two creatures can be worth wayyyy more than 3 mana. I think there are going to be a good number of creatures in Limited that this could be a good card. In Standard, there could be some blink decks built around this card.
The best application though might be High Tide decks. Untapping Candelabra of Tawnos or even just two lands seems pretty useful. It’s no Turnabout, but it could be useful as more mana generation.

So thats 3 cards dedicated to blink … We only had 1 (momentary blink) and it was a viable standard deck in timespiral … Thank you wizards for bring back one of my fav archetypes, and giving me more value out of my snapcaster mages and solemn simulacrums.

Block Constructed Bans?

glimmerpost:

glimmerpost:

Who…cares?

I saw the posts, and asked “Does anyone actually PLAY block constructed?”

Pretty much exactly the same way I felt.  I mean, I know it’s played on the pro circuit, but nobody plays it by CHOICE, so why are people even concerned?

I’m concerned because I have a power nine tournament i’m entering in april thats format is block constructed. lingering souls was my stall bomb in reanimator.

stealingshit replied to your photo: There is only ONE ”Fortification” in all of Magic.

I prefer Contraptions.

It’s very bad.

Here’s the ruling:

5/1/2007: Contraption is a new artifact type. There are currently no artifacts with this type. And there’s no current game meaning of “assemble.”

Wizards: I don’t really know where we were going with that.

I know exactly what they were thinking, Time Spiral showed us the past, planar chaos showed us possible presents based upon different occurances in the timeline, and Future Sight showed POSSIBLE BUT NOT ABSOLUTE FUTURES. Goyf eluded to planeswalkers which didnt exist yet, Tombstalker had Delve which was an OP test run for the skaab exile requirements, graven cairns showed us filter lands to come,Nimbus Maze ,river of tears, grove of the burnwillows, horizon canopy (nimbus maze although less played was chosen)served as a tester for duals such glacial fortress, weve yet to see effects (not to say that we ever will they were “possible” outcomes) like fortification, assembling contraptions, aura swap, granduer we can only cross our finger.

P.S. Arcanum Wings aura swap Eldrazi Conscription … Think about it.
